Capacity is already secured, not still in planning
The master service agreement between KONST and LG Sinar Mas has been signed. The 15 MW of liquid-cooled capacity can be leased in zones as needed, with room reserved for later expansion.
Power with dual-path redundancy throughout
Dual-circuit utility feeds are paired with UPS and generators. Every rack position has A/B dual-path power, and on-site fuel storage supports 24 hours.
Downtown interconnection, latency measured in milliseconds
Located in Jakarta's central business district, the site is carrier neutral with no restriction on carrier choice. More than 55 ISPs are present, and it connects directly to Indonesian internet exchanges.

Sinar Mas Group operates the data center, and KONST leases and integrates it
In August 2026, KONST signed a cooperation agreement with SM+ Data Centers and LG Sinar Mas.
Partnership structure
DiagramThe data center layer is developed and operated by SM+ Data Centers and LG Sinar Mas. KONST leases the capacity and is the single point of contact for the contract. The four delivery items can be added as needed.

SM+ Data Centers
Digital infrastructure and services platform under Sinar Mas Group, one of Indonesia's largest conglomerates. It owns and operates 26 data centers across Indonesia, with a combined IT load capacity of more than 40 MW*.
LG Sinar Mas
A joint venture between South Korea's LG CNS and SM+, part of Sinar Mas Group, focused on technology transformation in Indonesia's financial services, telecom, and industrial sectors*.
* The group affiliation, number of data centers, and business scope of SM+ Data Centers and LG Sinar Mas are based on a Commercial Times report dated August 5, 2026.
Site invested in and built in advance, open for move-in on December 26, 2026
The operator has invested in and built the site in advance, so there is no need to wait for construction to start. KONST integrates site, power, and cooling resources early, so equipment procurement and installation can be planned directly against the delivery schedule. Go-live is expected in the first quarter of 2027.

Frequently asked questions about SMX01
The seven questions asked most often when evaluating SMX01 capacity, answered based on project terms as of September 2026.
What is the maximum design power per rack at SMX01?
Design power is up to 130 kW per rack, with support for direct-to-chip liquid cooling (DLC). The facility-side cooling water loop is supplied into the data hall. The responsibility boundary for in-rack or in-row CDUs and cold plates is confirmed when the design is finalized and written into the contract.
How many GPUs can be deployed in 15 MW of capacity?
Estimated with B300 eight-GPU liquid-cooled nodes, the site can hold 108 high-density racks and 864 servers, for a total of 6,912 GPUs, spread across three floors at 5 MW each. Each rack can directly hold 8 B300 eight-GPU liquid-cooled nodes, at about 120 kW. The actual rack count and configuration will be adjusted based on the confirmed server model and thermal simulation results.
When can customers move in and install equipment?
Move-in and installation are available from December 26, 2026. Power-on, validation, and go-live are expected in the first quarter of 2027. The move-in date is stated in the master service agreement between KONST and LG Sinar Mas and does not change with the signing date.
What redundancy is in place for a power outage or cooling interruption?
Power comes from dual-circuit utility feeds, backed by 2N UPS and 2N generators. On-site fuel storage supports 24 hours, and every rack position has A/B dual-path power. Cooling uses an N+1 liquid cooling architecture. The data center is monitored 24/7, with temperature held at 22 to 26 °C and relative humidity at 45 to 60%. Availability and service level terms are set in the master service agreement.
What does the colocation fee include?
Fees are priced on leased capacity (kW). They include data center space and racks, A/B dual-path power from rack PDUs, dual-circuit utility feeds with 2N UPS, 2N generator backup, the facility-side cooling water loop, the fire protection system and physical security, and 24/7 data center monitoring. Electricity is passed through at actual consumption. Cross connects and IP transit are ordered and billed separately as needed. Equipment procurement, rack installation and deployment, delivery validation, and day-to-day GPU operations are quoted separately and can be added to the colocation contract or signed as a separate contract.
What does the customer handle, and what can be delegated to KONST?
The customer is responsible for GPU servers and IT equipment, rack assembly and in-rack cabling, operating system and network activation, day-to-day GPU operations and RMA handling, and the importer of record (IOR) role and customs clearance. Of these, equipment procurement (B300 platform, InfiniBand network, and spares), rack installation and cabling and power and liquid cooling hookup, network activation and cluster validation (NCCL/HPL), and 24/7 remote or on-site day-to-day GPU operations can be delegated to KONST separately.
What are the network interconnection conditions at SMX01?
The site is carrier neutral and does not limit the choice of carrier. It has 4 entry points with diverse paths over two different routes, secure entry through four manholes, 2 MMRs in a dual configuration, and more than 55 ISPs present. Latency is under 1 ms to Cyber 1 IX and under 2 ms to Singapore CLS. The site connects directly to Indonesian internet exchanges, domestic fiber routes, and submarine cable systems.
